Where: Texas Township Municipal Building, 506 Old Willow Ave., Honesdale, PA 18431
The Texas Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a Conditional Use public hearing to consider the application of Lake Region Development III, LLC for Conditional Use approval to establish and operate a sixteen (16) room Rooming House on property located at 672 Texas Palmyra Hwy, White Mills (Texas Township), PA, in the C-1 district, pursuant to the Texas Township Zoning Ordinance provisions governing Rooming Houses and Conditional Uses. The application and supporting materials are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Township Municipal Building. All interested persons are invited to attend and will be afforded an opportunity to be heard.

Walmart Pick-Up Modernization Variance
When: Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 4:30 PM
Where: Texas Township Municipal Building, 506 Old Willow Ave., Honesdale, PA 18431
The Texas Township Zoning Hearing Board will convene a public hearing to consider a Variance Request filed by Walmart, Inc., 814 Respect Drive, Bentonville, AR, relative to property located at 723 A Old Willow Avenue, Honesdale (Texas Township), PA. The property is identified as Tax Parcel 27-0-0027-0008 (Wayne County Record Book 1270, Page 120). The applicant seeks approval for modernization and re-construction of its Pick-Up services, together with any necessary set-back relaxations, at its Super Center store at that location. The applicant's request and plans may be examined by contacting the Township Secretary for an appointment during regular office hours.

Gunuskey Lot-Size Variance

Where: Texas Township Municipal Building, 506 Old Willow Ave., Honesdale, PA 18431
The Texas Township Zoning Hearing Board will convene a public hearing to consider a Variance Request filed by Keith E. Gunuskey and Mariann T. Gunuskey, 101 Elizabeth Avenue, Honesdale, PA, relative to property located at 19-20-21 Kiddy Lane, Honesdale (Texas Township), PA. The property is identified as Tax Parcel 27-0-0254-0119 (Wayne County Record Book 6345, Page 254). The applicants seek a lot-size variance and formally to separate the subject parcel now divided by Kiddy Lane. The applicant's request may be examined by contacting the Township Secretary for an appointment during regular office hours.

Residents are welcome to attend Supervisors meetings and may comment during the public comment portion of each meeting. Written comments may also be submitted to the Township Secretary at Email Township Office or mailed to 506 Old Willow Ave, Honesdale, PA 18431.
