Welcome to Texas Township

Texas Township is a second-class township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains region along the Lackawaxen River.

Established in 1837 from portions of Dyberry Township, Texas Township encompasses 14.5 square miles and is home to approximately 2,287 residents. The township includes the community of White Mills and is traversed by historic U.S. Route 6. Governed by an elected Supervisors, the township is committed to preserving its rich heritage while serving the needs of its residents.
