Supervisors

The Supervisors are the governing body of Texas Township — a second-class township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. Supervisors are elected officials who oversee township operations, set policy, adopt the annual budget, approve ordinances, and represent residents in matters affecting the township. The Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM ET, and meetings are open to the public.

Role of the Board

The Supervisors work on behalf of all Texas Township residents. Its duties include:

  • Setting the annual township budget and tax rate
  • Adopting and amending township ordinances
  • Overseeing township departments and staff
  • Approving contracts, road work, and capital projects
  • Holding public meetings and hearing resident input
  • Representing the township in dealings with the county, state, and other agencies

Meeting Schedule

The Supervisors meet at the Township Municipal Building on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM ET. Meetings are open to the public, and residents are welcome to attend and comment.
